Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Tampa Fairgrounds/Casino

Very good hotel. Met several staff members and they were all really nice. Breakfast in the morning was great too. Only 'complaints' I have are to get some lights by the pool so it can be used in the evening and more outlets or USB ports to be able to plug things in. I'm on vacation and have several electronics and had to unplug the microwave to get to another outlet.

I had to check in here last minute after a disaster with air bnb. It was 1 am and the staff was so helpful getting me a room with no prior reservation. All the staff who assisted me throughout my stay were all so friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed the breakfast and I especially loved the hot tea and coffee that was available 24/7. My room was great, it was quiet, had a fridge, microwave, clean bed, comfy pillows. The little market also had everything I needed. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here.

We stayed in a larger king room which has a separate sitting area. Room was clean and quiet. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was included and had a nice selection. Scrambled eggs, sausage links, waffles bagels and muffins. We would recommend this to family and friends.

A nice and clean location with nice rooms and plenty of parking. Arrived around 1:00 PM and Ala was most friendly letting us check in early as well as getting us adjoining rooms on the first floor. Rooms are nice though on the small side. They have a morning guest breakfast which is nice with the standard eggs, sausage, waffles, cereal, breads, coffee and juices. The front lobby is welcoming with a business center and flavored water and coffee, tea available throughout the day. Close to the Hard Rock casino they also have a shuttle. Right off I-4 this is a good pit stop when traveling with rates in the,$110.00 range.

We had a great stay at the Fairfield Hotel, honestly, all due to Jess! From the moment we checked in, she was friendly and upfront— the team also informed us right away about a scheduled fire alarm service for the next day, which we really appreciated. Transparency like that goes a long way. Dietra is also a notable mention. One of keys stopped working because I had it on my phone… new card issued immediately. Truly a kind spirit who values Marriott. The room was clean and comfortable, though we did notice the AC was stuck on low, which made the room colder than we would’ve liked at first. Simply unplugged the unit. Also, if your window faces I-4, be aware that you may hear some traffic noise, especially at night. It didn’t ruin our stay, but it’s something to consider when choosing your room—otherwise, the location is super convenient. The complimentary breakfast was a definite highlight—plenty of options and everything was fresh and well-stocked. Overall, a solid and enjoyable stay. We’d gladly return!

The rooms were good, only issue is the wall are thin so I could hear the people next door loud and clear. The service was great. Jess was amazing and extremely helpful, her positive attitude was refreshing and the highlight of our stay.

Giving 4 stars because the Front Desk Clerk, Jess was very helpful. She gave great customer service. Also the room was clean. I requested fresh towels due to their policy of using what was left in the room from a previous stay. I wasn't comfortable using towels left by someone else. Overall our stay was comfortable!

Rooms here a decent and clean. Included breakfast as also pretty decent. With a waffle maker and hot food (scrambled eggs and bacon/sausage) it’s better than just pastries and muffins. If your room is on the backside (odd-numbered rooms) you will hear road noise from the interstate and off-ramp as it’s right next to an exit. But on the flip side, it’s easy to get to. If you are on the frontside, the parking lot lights necessitate closing your drapes as they are VERY bright. In the summer I would like to be able to have them open to watch lightning storms! There are really no restaurants nearby other than a McDonalds.
